EHC- Accreditation
The commissioners hold a database of pharmacy EHC providers. Please be aware of your contractual responsibilities below
‘The contractor must ensure that Southport and Ormskirk Hospital NHS Trust, via the Sexual Health Service Manager, is informed about any changes to personnel that impact on the provision of EHC eg if an accredited pharmacist leaves etc’
Please contact Lynne.hindle@nhs.net if there are any changes to providing EHC.
Please ensure those branches commissioned to provide EHC have an valid accreditation and have emailed Karen.Marshall1@nhs.net with your certificates etc.
Please note ‘To provide the Emergency Contraception Service you should complete the following Declaration of Competence framework every two years’.
